Vento's Pizza in Pittsburgh, PA has a long history going back as far as 1961. Al Vento, a lifelong Steelers fan, along with his business partner, Tony Stagno, created what is now the world-famous "Franco's Italian Army."

Al, an active member of the Italian-American community in East Liberty, established Franco's Italian Army in 1972. It was the start of a Pittsburgh Steelers fan base like no other because it helped celebrate the Italian heritage of his partners, Franco Harris, and himself.

Today, "Franco's Italian Army" still stands tall. Vento's Pizza is a go-to destination for all Pittsburgh Steelers fans for good food and a piece of Steeler history.
